Marco Pérez
Technical Writer · Copywriter · Instructional Designer
Technical documentation and copywriring for B2B, SaaS, APIs, developer tools, automation products, reference docs, setup guides, and code tutorials that engineers actually use.
My background combines a humanities degree with hands-on front-end web development and CMS work, so I document systems and create guides I can also read, run, and edit. I have also worked as web developer Jr, API documentation writer, and CMS Editor.
Languages: English · French · Spanish
Timezone: Bogotá, CO (GMT-5)

Projects
A selection of documentation work across developer education, fintech APIs, and engineering specifications: from knowledge-base structure to endpoint reference and bilingual technical translation.
Experience
Work experience across EdTech, FinTech, engineering, and agency environments.
Skills
Producing accurate and maintainable documentation for technical products.
I care about how a system behaves in practice, not only how it's described in a roadmap. Before writing a guide, I test the feature. I click through the configuration. I try to break it. I ask engineers about the edge cases that will confuse a user three steps later, then I write with those scenarios in mind.
That habit came from documenting courses where every setup instruction had to work on someone else's machine, in their second language, on the first attempt.
I've also worked as a webmaster and shipped front-end updates myself: HTML, CSS, JavaScript adjustments, Git version control. Real production environments, not theory. That changed how I document technical systems, because I understand what's happening behind the interface and where it tends to fail.
I work in English, Spanish, and French, and studied Philosophy and Literature — which is mostly training in reading closely and asking what a sentence actually commits you to. Useful for specifications.
